Better tools to help people find work

Resumé support team

Our customer service team, based in the National Operational Centre in Springwood, have been connected to our employment offices to offer a centralized resume service.
The start for any employment application is a resume and it remains a very important part of someone’s ability to get their foot in the door for a job. Whilst they need to be professionally presented, there is an increasing challenge to make sure they also feel personalized and capture the individual. Applicants for jobs also now face the prospect of their resumes being read by automated software which scan applications for keywords.
Since introducing resume reviews in March, the team have completed 18,000+ resumes including reformatting, proof reading and rewriting based on information provided by our customers.

Telehealth trials

Our health teams are mainly based in metro locations and some regional centres and provide allied health support to our customers. Whilst we provide phone-based services for after hours, there are limitations to engagement with the lack of non-verbal cues in interactions.

We have begun trials using a video call platform that customers can use anywhere with an internet connection. It is easy to use, and research has shown that up to 80% of clinician visits can be provided online with comparable clinical outcomes.

This means customers have greater flexibility and access and retain quality of service and privacy.

New website articles sections

Over the last year we have brought more and more content online. We have introduced new sections on our website for articles and advice for customers across all our programs. From resumes and interviews to mental health and wellbeing, we have created a library of 130+ helpful articles to support our customers.

Having access to digital resources is becoming very important as customers look for support to be more self-service and accessible 24/7. We also launched a library for our Employee Assistance Program, an archive of researched articles to support people in work.
